Yael Tilajef Ackermann is a shareholder of Ackermann & Tilajef, P.C., where she was formerly involved in building the firm's sexual harassment practice. She served as lead or co-lead counsel in a growing number of sexual harassment cases in California, representing dozens of victims of workplace sexual harassment across the state, including male-on-male harassment, anti-gay harassment, cases involving teenage workers, and traditional harassment matters.

Overview

Earlier in her career, she worked as an associate at the Law Offices of Vicki J. Greene, handling complex litigation for clients in high-net-worth family law cases. From 1999 through 2002 she practiced in New York City as an associate with Rimberg & Associates, P.C. and Peter Axelrod & Associates, P.C., and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Bernard J. Fried of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.

Yael holds a B.S. from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and is admitted to the New York, New Jersey, and California bars. She currently works a couple of days per month and is primarily involved in firm administration.
